NDPTL is actively involved in the Northern Dimension and Baltic Sea region cooperation frameworks, including for example:

• the Northern Dimension Steering Group,
• Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission (HELCOM) (observer organization)
• Joint EU project (OpenRisk 2) with the coordinator of PA SHIP and SAFE of the European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR)
