The NDPTL Secretariat contributes today and tomorrow to the international Transport
Innovation Forum 2024 (9.-10.10.2024), an annual international event on transport and
logistics organised in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Earlier today, the eFTI4EU project, in which NDPTL Secretariat participates as a partner,
organised an inspiring special session on digital transformation of logistics -and the role of the projects work on the 2020 EU electronic freight transport information Regulation. The discussions highlighted the sustainability, resilience and economic potential latent in this transition. The panel also pointed at the need to smoothen the challenges of the many smaller companies in making the necessary digital leap.
Tomorrow, the IBA-3 project, in which we also participate as a partner, will organise an event on Nordic & Baltic Sea region Public-Private Platform on Triple (Digital, Green & Resilient) Transition in Logistics. This event will be an opportunity to reflect on how we could break some thematic silos between the many ongoing processes (e.g. EU directives/regulations/standard setting) on smart, sustainable and resilient logistics within the EU and beyond -and thus make more out of our limited resources. Our event will feature introductory presentations, discussions as well as groupwork and paves the way for developing a regional roadmap on Triple (Digital, Green & Resilient) Transition in Logistics.
