The Assembly of Donors of the NDPTL Support Fund selected three new projects to be co-financed from the NDPTL Support Fund.
The Assembly of Donors of the NDPTL Support fund gathered in Helsinki, Finland, on 5 November 2015. The Donors considered 10 project applications from a range of the NDPTL partner-countries: Belarus, Russia, Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden.
The Donors selected three projects to support:
1. Belarus Customs received 196 000 EUR for the project preparing documentation for integration of the x-rays and radiation control systems on the Belorussian border-crossing points.
2. Norwegian port of Narvik received 388 000 EUR for defining the new location for the port in order to fulfill its task to serve as one of the main mineral ports for the Barents region.
3. Swedish Maritime Authority received 776 000 EUR for the hydrographic survey in order to further develop the LuleƄ Iron Ore Port so as to meet the growing demand on transportation from the steel industry in the Northern Europe.
