On December 9th 2015 the Northern Dimension day convened in Brussels.
The day was devoted to the demonstration and discussion of the achievements of the Northern Dimension policy. Focus was put on concrete projects and success stories implemented within the four Northern Dimension Partnerships – Environment, Culture, Transport and Logistics, and Health and Social Wellbeing.
Former Finnish Prime-Minister Mr. Paavo Lipponen started the session by giving his key note speech addressing the history and the future potential for the Northern Dimension cooperation.
The event summarized and presented what was done, how it was done, what made it successful, what were the challenges and needs, and what were the lessons learned.
It was clearly demonstrated that the Northern Dimension is one of the most effective forward-looking formats for constructive dialogue on regional and trans-border cooperation.
The seminar was organized by the Northern Dimension Institute (NDI) in cooperation with the four Northern Dimension Partnerships.
