On the 23rd of September the Barents transport ministerial meeting convened in Narvik, Norway.
The meeting adressed the proposed Joint Transport Plan for the Barents Region. The plan covers Russian, Finnish, Sweedish and Norwegian parts of the Barents region.
In the Declaration adopted in the meeting, the ministers stressed in particular BEATA´s need for close interaction with NDPTL and recognized that NDPTL via its newly established Support Fund provided means to elaborate projects and bring them closer to implementation.
