The NDPTL Secretariat is looking for an Advisor with expertise in the field of transportation and logistics, to strengthen its team with offices in Helsinki, Finland.
The Advisor will work as an expert and activity leader to advance NDPTL priorities, especially reducing the environmental footprint and/or catalysing digitalization of transboundary transportation and logistics in the NDPTL area.
As the secretariat is small the task will also require, besides substantial expertise, also a hands-on attitude as well as an ability to carry out single handed practical tasks in organizing, facilitating, and acting as secretary of intergovernmental meetings and events (online/MS Teams, hybrid and live modes). In addition, the tasks require the necessary skills and interest in dissemination and delivering presentations.
This contract will be for a fixed period of two years, enabled by a special secondment contribution from the Government of Finland.
The work will be based in the NDPTL Secretariat offices hosted by the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) in central Helsinki, Finland. Successful candidate from abroad is entitled to support in moving and accommodation.
